This October, Watermouth Castle is bringing back its spine-chilling Halloween scare event for the second year—and we want YOU to be part of the action! We're seeking passionate, high-energy individuals to help us deliver an unforgettable fright fest. Whether you're a seasoned actor or a first-time thrill-seeker, there’s a role for everyone! Positions Available:

• Scary Maze Actors: Set the scene for terror as you haunt the maze.
• Freaky Clowns: Get under the skin of our visitors with your twisted funhouse antics.
• Dungeon Demons: Add a dark, demonic flair to our underground lair.
• Makeup Artists: Transform our cast into terrifying creatures and help bring the horror to life.

We’re looking for everything from fearless scare captains to direct teams, talented professional actors to those who just love to terrify, and anyone who's ready to dive headfirst into the dark side. Whether you're a seasoned horror fan or a first-time freak, we’ve got a spot for you to shine! Are You Ready to Descend into Darkness?
Being part of our scare team isn’t just about scaring people—it’s about creating an experience that will leave visitors shaking in their boots. You’ll make new friends, hone your acting skills, and immerse yourself in a world of horror that’s as thrilling as it is terrifying. This is an opportunity you’ll never forget! What You Need to Know Before Applying:

• Age Requirement: All applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Roles: We offer both paid positions and volunteer opportunities. Volunteer spots are perfect for those looking to gain experience or just have fun during the Halloween season! If, at any point, it’s not working out, you’re free to step out. The experience is all about fun!
• Commitment: For paid roles, you must be available for ALL event nights and rehearsals. The event will run over 11 nights in October (5:30 PM – 11:30 PM).
  • Rehearsals: 10th & 11th October
  • Event Nights: 17th/18th October & 24th October – 1st November
  • Volunteers must attend at least 1 rehearsal night and 4 event nights to be considered.
• Arrival & Departure: All team members must arrive by 5:00 PM for costume and makeup prep, with an expected end time no earlier than 10:30 PM.
