We are currently looking for a Business Support staff member to join our administrative team working in Adopt South West. This post will work within the 'Keeping In Touch' (Letterbox) team which administrate the contact process between Birth and Adoptive families after a child is placed for adoption. This team also work alongside the Adopt South West Maintaining Relationships Team to assist them in this important work.

What skills & qualities we need from you:
- Able to use office 365 programmes, TEAMS/Outlook/Calendars/Microsoft Edge/Excel/Word/SharePoint - Basic Training will be provided
- Focussed on accurate data inputting and record keeping
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude towards learning and supporting your colleagues
- Good communication skills & the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues, managers, senior managers, and wider colleagues
- Ability to plan your daily workload, and be adaptable to respond quickly to changing service priorities
- Ability to think on your feet and work with colleagues to resolve problems
- Able to work to deadlines, and remain calm and resilient under pressure
What key tasks/responsibilities will the role involve:
- Use of a laptop, provided by Adopt South West, to access internal systems and Microsoft packages to conduct your role
- Managing shared team mailboxes, acting on and responding to incoming/outgoing mail
- Communicating with families, Social Workers, Team Managers, Senior Managers
- Updating internal recording systems
- Inputting data and uploading of word documents
- Providing direct support to Team Managers, Family Practitioners, Social Workers and Senior Managers
- You will be working in the main Regional Office for Adopt South West at County Hall in Exeter.
