Job Advert: Freelance Civil Site Agent / Civils Site Manager - Exeter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Freelance Civil Site Manager to join one of our key clients in Exeter. This well-established civils contractor offers ongoing work, a variety of projects, local opportunities and stability. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing a prestigious 36-month project, contributing to the growth and success of a respected business.

The Role: As a Freelance Civil Site Manager, you will take on a leadership role overseeing the daily operations of the site, with the following responsibilities: Supervising engineers and subcontractors to ensure the smooth operation of the site
Ensuring all work meets specified client requirements and is delivered to a high standard
Reporting regularly on site progress to the Project Manager
Promoting a culture of health and safety awareness across the site
Ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are completed for all aspects of the work
The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will have: A degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline
Experience working with roads, utilities, S278s, and deep drainage; experience in water projects is advantageous but not essential
A strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety practices, and legal regulations
Previous experience working within the civil engineering industry
A valid UK driving licence
A CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
