Job title: Consultant, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Overview Looking to take part in research and innovation, service development or teaching within a Trust that prides itself on patient care, learning and development and rapid career progression? The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks to appoint a consultant to our department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH), Barnstaple. As a key member of the Trust, you will join an exceptional team helping patients stay healthy when they need it most. Consultants deliver face-to-face, and virtual care from both Barnstaple and Exeter sites. The Gastroenterology department is supported by an established team of IBD, hepatology and nutrition specialist nurses and by nationally recognised surgical teams. The Trust has an EPIC electronic patient record, a multi-million-pound research facility, a significant development budget and plans for the future. The Trust supports new consultants to develop innovative new services and to pursue research and teaching interests. About us Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, the Trust employs over 15,000 staff and provides services to more than 615,000 people across more than 2,000 square miles. We deliver emergency, specialist and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Location and schedules Location: North Devon District Hospital, Raleigh Park, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 4JB. Working pattern: Full-time or Part-time. Reference: 185-801-7265. Salary: £99,532 to £131,964 per year plus financial incentive and relocation package. Contract: Permanent.
