This post has been  designed to enhance and provide extra resilience to the financial reporting capabilities of the Trust. 

We are offering you an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience on Trust-wide NHS financial reporting requirements.  The Trust provides NHS Acute, NHS Community and Adult Social Care services and is part of the government's New Hospital Building Programme.

If you are a highly motivated individual and would like to make a positive impact to the success of the NHS services offered in Torbay, we would like to hear from you.

Support and resources will be provided to candidates who have not yet completed their CCAB studies but wish to do so.

Advert

  • Production of the Trust's monthly financial information report to the Trust's Regulator, NHSE/I
  • Production of elements of the Trust Board Report.
  • Management of the Trust's Insurance policies
  • Leading and Line management to the Trust's capital accounting team 
  • Interpreting new guidance / accounting standards and developing plans to enable those reporting requirements to be met.
  • Leading and co-ordinating the External Audit process of the Trust's financial statements.
