At the NHS Breast Screening Programme, weโre proud to provide a vital service to women across Devon. As a Mammography Associate Apprentice, youโll play a key part in supporting patients through their breast screening journey, working alongside a brilliant team of Radiographers, Nurses and Radiologists.

๐ What youโll be doing
Learning both practically and academically to become a confident Mammography Associate.
Supporting patients with kindness, empathy and professionalism โ helping them feel comfortable during their screening.
Working with cutting-edge equipment to deliver high-quality breast images to NHS standards.
Playing an active role in clinics, from preparing equipment to assisting in procedures and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
๐ฉโโ๏ธ Who weโre looking for
Weโd love to hear from you if you are:
A people-person who enjoys supporting others and working in a team.
Calm, professional and empathetic โ especially in sensitive situations.
A good communicator with strong attention to detail.
Flexible and happy to work across different sites when needed.
Educated to GCSE level (Maths & English grade 4/C or above) and have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
โจ Previous healthcare experience isnโt essential โ what matters most is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
