The acute children's ward at Torbay cares for children and young people 0 18yrs on our 19 bedded ward which consists of 2 HDU beds, 11 cubicles and a separate 6 bedded young peoples area. We also have a Short Stay Paediatric Assessment area (SSPAU).
There is lots of acute experience to be gained from working in our very friendly team. We provide in-house training and external courses, which will help you to develop new skills and enhance those you already have and you will be fully supported.
