What You Will Do:

Act fast and think critically, identify and treat critically ill children, ensuring they get the emergency care they need.

Provide high-dependency and life-saving care, preparing patients for transfer to regional children’s hospitals when necessary.

Work alongside an amazing multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth patient flow and meeting key emergency care targets.

Mentor and support junior staff, helping to shape the next generation of paediatric nurses.

What We are Looking For:

A qualified children’s nurse (RN Child or RSCN) with a passion for emergency care.

Someone with strong critical-thinking skills who can stay calm under pressure.

Experience in paediatric emergency care (or relevant transferable skills).

A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

 

Essential Qualifications & Training:

Paediatric Life Support (PLS)

Child Protection Level 3 training

Mentorship course

Additional training (desirable but not essential):

Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) / European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS)
