We’re looking for a dynamic, creative professional to join our team as a People Strategy and Data Insights Lead. Joining us on a Permanent Contract, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

About the role:

As a People Strategy and Data Insights Lead, you will play a pivotal role in translating data into strategic insights that support our People Strategy. You will be at the forefront of leveraging data to shape decisions, guide organisational change, and ultimately make us a leading employer in the South West. This isn’t just about crunching numbers—it’s about understanding what the numbers tell us and how they can be used to drive our people-centred business objectives.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on how to use data to shape our People Strategy. You will work closely with people across the business to collect, consolidate, and analyse data to inform key business decisions that will impact our workforce, culture, and organisational success.

What you'll be doing:

    • Sharing a story: Identify and translate key insights from complex data into actionable strategies that align with our People and Business goals through relatable and compelling stories
    • Be an expert: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and People team colleagues, offering expert guidance on using people data to drive strategic change
    • Transformational Insights: Leverage data to identify opportunities for change, help shape our people goals, and guide organisational transformation
    • Strategic Data Leadership: Lead the strategies for collecting, consolidating, and analysing data from multiple sources to deliver high-quality insights
    • Be Creative: Communicate findings and recommendations in a captivating, easy-to-understand way that resonates with stakeholders at all levels
    • Collaborate: Work across teams to ensure data is up-to-date, accurate, and readily available to support business decisions
    • Continuously Improve: Constantly evaluate and evolve our data strategies to ensure we’re making the most of our people data in a rapidly changing environment

What we are looking for:

    • Strategic mindset: able to think beyond the numbers, aligning insight with broader business and people goals
    • Business Acumen: solid understanding of how data can be used to improve performance
    • Curiosity: insatiable curiosity about data, always seeking a deeper understanding
    • Adaptability: comfortable adjusting approach as new insights and challenges emerge
    • Expert: in Power Bi or similar dash boarding tool
    • Project management: experience in large scale change
