As a Porter, you’ll be expected to carry out a variety of tasks throughout your shift. You’ll often be on the move, walking long distances while transporting patients, equipment, furniture, waste, laundry, notes, specimens, and more across our Trust sites.
You’ll provide a thorough portering service for the Facilities Operations department, ensuring everything is moved safely and that equipment is cleaned and checked for faults.
You’ll work closely with patients, visitors, and colleagues, always maintaining a polite and courteous manner. Plus, you’ll be involved in our onsite courier service, helping with deliveries around the Trust sites.
You’ll provide a comprehensive porter service for our Facilities department.
