Job Title: Project Administrator (2 years FTC)

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £25,500 per annum


Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Administrator to support the delivery of telecommunications projects. They will assist project managers and engineers with the coordination, documentation, and communication tasks required to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a good understanding of telecom infrastructure, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

This role is hybrid, allowing you to work from home and in the office, with scheduled days throughout month to attend key meetings.

Collaboration with remote and on-site teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in the planning and execution of telecom infrastructure projects (e.g., fiber rollout, network expansions).
  • Track project milestones, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, logistics, and field teams.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including scopes of work, timelines, budgets, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of project reports and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor resource allocation, material delivery, and contractor performance.
  • Manage project-related databases and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ERP systems)
  • Organize project meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the project manager, area build manager and site supervisor as needed.

Key Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project).
  • Familiarity with telecom terminology, infrastructure, and workflows is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines

Desirable
Experience working with field teams or contractors.
Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards in telecom projects.
