Job Description

Our rapidly growing IT client in Cullumpton, Devon is expanding again. Keen to build on their fantastic results they are looking for an experienced Project Delivery Team Lead.

 

As their Project Delivery Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects from initiation through to completion. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and maintaining delivery standards. The Project Delivery Team Lead promotes collaboration, drives continuous improvement, and ensures alignment with business objectives.

Project Delivery Team Lead Background and Experience:

 

  • Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools for planning, tracking, and reporting. Professional Certification in Project Management such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP (Project Management Professional), or Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, AgilePM).

 

  • Technical Expertise: Ability to provide technical leadership, understand IT architecture, and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Technical certification such as Microsoft Certified: Expert/MCSE or equival 

 

  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

  • Risk and Issue Management: Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.

 

  • Leadership and Team Management: Capability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams towards common objectives.

 

Project Delivery Team Lead Package:

  • £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary
  • Excellent benefits, training and development opportunities
  • Work pattern: Hybrid with 2 days per week in their Cullompton Office
