Teaching Assistant 1:1

We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Furzeham Primary & Nursery School on a fixed term basis. The successful applicant will provide teaching and learning support on a one-to-one basis under the guidance of the class teacher.

Our Teaching Assistants support teachers with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils, maintaining accurate records in order to ensure documentation of all interventions with pupils, detailing their progress and achievement.

Our Teaching Assistant will;

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis.
• Promote learning and safety at break and lunch times, and on educational visits.
• Promote positive behaviour patterns, raising self-esteem.
• Improve independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth.
• To administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.
