Location: Plymouth, Devon

Salary: Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)

Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Minimum of 30 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays, but no OOH required)

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a confident and skilled Veterinary Surgeon for a well-established practice in Plymouth, Devon. This position offers flexible working hours, with the option to join on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on your needs and preferences. The role will ideally cover a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a requirement to work 1 in 3 Saturdays. Best of all, there are no out-of-hours (OOH) duties, offering you a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality veterinary care to a wide range of animals
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with pet owners
• Take sole charge when necessary and lead consultations
• Perform a range of medical, surgical, and emergency procedures
• Collaborate with a close-knit, supportive team to ensure the best care for patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow best practice guidelines

• A confident Veterinary Surgeon with a broad range of GP skills
• Someone comfortable working independently and in sole charge
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
