The Role

As a Bartender, you'll be the highlight of our guests' experience, creating unforgettable moments! You'll operate the bar like the back of your hand, ensuring the highest level of service. 

Responsibilities include

• Pour and assist guests with beverage selections and provide recommendations, including upsells 
  
• Maintain the Bar by ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and the proper arrangement of glassware and bar tools 
• Take and process orders accurately and efficiently
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with integrity and precision

Required Skills & Experience 

• Experience as a bartender
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously and delivering a great service
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change

Set in 3 acres of gardens on a spur dividing the 2 sandy beaches of Paignton and Preston, this traditional seafront hotel was built in 1856. It’s a 6-minute walk from Paignton Pier and 3 miles from Torquay. This traditional, iconic property provides a great base for exploring the English Riviera and the Jurassic Coast.

The Redcliffe has 70 ensuite rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness suite and 2 seaside restaurants. The Redcliffe has many unique features, including direct access to the beach via a tunnel. Over the coming months an extensive redevelop programme is being undertaken to transform The Redcliffe into an opulent and luxurious place to stay.
