Shoots Training are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship with Ladybirds Day Nursery in Brixton.

Ladybirds Day Nursery is fresh, bright and modern, in an area that welcomes early years care. Ladybirds can provide a friendly, reassuring setting for your child to flourish and take children from the ages of 0 to 5years

We have an area for sand, jigsaws & games
Outdoor play area along with a water & messy play
But also a quiet areas for books and reading
Large spacious area for role play & floor games and activities for intellectually developing the child

Your responsibilities would include:

• To support children’s development, you must be fun, caring and have a love of the outdoors.
• Be willing to undertake all the duties required to help with the children’s development, including all aspects of personal care.
• To assist other members of the team
• Communicate with parents once settled into the role.
• You will support and assist the children to help enable them to reach their highest potential, reaching goals through play and adult-led activities.
• You will use the EYFS to support all children in all areas of development through planned activities and child-led play.

Hours;

• Ladybirds Day Nursery is open from 07.30am to 18.00pm Monday-Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 27.5 hours per week, with additional hours and shifts to be discussed

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C/4-9 in Maths and English Language (or equivalent i.e. functional skills). 

• Birthday off every year
