At Long-Term Teachers, we’re proud to continue our strong and longstanding partnership with a remarkable specialist school located on the Devon coast. We’re currently supporting them in finding a flexible, committed HLTA to join their dynamic and supportive team as soon as possible.

Set on a picturesque campus nestled between the woods and the sea, this school offers far more than just a place of learning - it’s a vibrant, nurturing environment where students with autism and complex needs flourish.

About the School:

Catering for pupils from EYFS all the way through to post-16 level, this school offers a wide-ranging and individualised curriculum designed to meet the diverse needs of its learners. With dedicated facilities including a forest school, woodland trail, bike tracks and an onsite swimming pool, learning here is active, therapeutic and deeply engaging.

It’s the perfect setting for a HLTA who thrives in the outdoors, values a varied work day and has the creativity and calm nature to work across multiple key stages if required.

  • Providing tailored classroom support across different age groups
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to meet students EHCP targets
  • Being a positive, proactive team player who can adapt to daily changes with ease

  • A proactive and patient approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
