This is an exciting opportunity to join at a time of positive change, with a newly appointed Centre Manager, incoming occupiers, and the chance to help shape the centre’s future.
Strong relationship management and communication skills are essential, as the role involves working closely with brand partners (both on-site and at head office), external stakeholders, and the wider local community. The ideal candidate will be well-connected in Exeter and capable of raising the centre’s profile through a targeted, engaging marketing strategy.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering the marketing strategy and executing tactical campaigns and events that drive footfall, enhance the centre’s profile, and support revenue growth. The strategy will be developed in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield’s Head of Place Activation & Enlivenment.
A deep understanding of retail and consumer trends is key, as are excellent communication and presentation skills. You’ll need to be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
This role also forms part of the Centre Management Team and will support day-to-day operations in the absence of the Centre or Operations Manager when required.

Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
5+ years of marketing management experience within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Proven track record across the full marketing mix, including social and digital media, events, PR, and branding
Creative mindset with a hands-on approach
Proactive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and keep senior management updated
Strong budget management skills
Experience managing suppliers and external agencies
Highly organised and committed with a strong work ethic
