At Pollards, part of our expanding UK-wide print and marketing group, we’re investing in innovation to benefit both our people and our customers. We’re looking for a Pre-Press Operator to join our Exeter team and play a crucial role in ensuring print-ready file integrity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🎨 Pre-Press & Artwork Preparation – Pre-flight checking, file corrections, and imposition using Adobe Creative Suite, Enfocus PitStop, and Agfa Apogee Workflow.
🖨 CTP & Workflow Management – Operating and maintaining computer-to-plate (CTP) equipment, ensuring smooth production.
⚡ Problem-Solving – Identifying and fixing artwork or associated issues before they reach print, ensuring quality and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience in pre-press, print production, with occasional graphic design.
✔ Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and pre-flight tools.
✔ Knowledge of impositions and workflow automation (or willingness to learn).
✔ A detail-oriented, organised approach with the ability to work under pressure.
✔ Knowledge of Fogra & ICC colour profiling advantageous.
✔ Willingness to support other areas of print and production as needed.

🕒 Monday–Friday – double day shifts (week 1 – 6:00 to 13:30 / week 2 – 13:30 to 21:00) after successful probation period.
