SEND Teaching Assistant – Paignton area – £24,229 to £27,133 FTE (Actual: £18,341 to £20,540) – Fixed Term (10 Months) – Part-Time (31.75 hrs/week, Term Time Only) – Start ASAP

A primary school around the Paignton area is seeking a skilled and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a nurturing, small-group provision designed for pupils with complex communication needs. This fixed-term, term-time only role, offering 31.75 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

Whether you’ve worked in specialist education before or have experience supporting children with EHCPs, this is a brilliant opportunity to make a meaningful difference in an inclusive, student-focused environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience supporting children with SEND (essential)
• A warm, consistent, and flexible approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A belief in the power of inclusive, child-centred education
• A reflective attitude and willingness to continue learning
• A TA or SEND-related qualification (preferred but not required)
