Experienced Service Advisor - Hill Barton, Exeter

Location: Exeter
Salary: £29,500.00 - £36,900.00 per annum 
Hours: Monday – Friday on alternating weekly shifts 07:30-16:00,  08:30-17:00 and 09:30-18:00 (30 minute lunch break) with Saturday shifts on a rota basis, averaging 41.5 hours per week

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and the workshop, ensuring a seamless service experience from booking to vehicle handover. You will manage compliance documentation, maintain accurate records, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction in line with Mercedes-Benz and City West Country standards.

  • Responsible for prioritising customer requirements throughout the service operation
  • Upload and manage compliance documentation to the customer/DVSA portal
  • Responsible to ensure every opportunity is met to achieve customer ‘Fix First Visit’
  • Monitors workshop loading, ensuring continuity to maximise productivity 
  • Update customers on job and order progress
  • Allocates the flow of work into the workshop, maximising available resources
  • Ensure adherence to company standards for quality control within the workshop – maintains a quality system

What's required from you?

  • Previous service experience within the Motor industry (preferred)
  • Experience of a customer focused environment (preferred)
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills (preferred)
  • Admin and IT Skills (required)
