Experienced Vehicle Technician - BYD & Tangelo / Exeter

Location: Exeter/ Hennock Road 
Salary: Up to £40,000 including uncapped bonus + Saturday AM paid at time and a half
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 (30 minute lunch break) & Saturdays on a rota basis

About the Role
You will be responsible for carrying out all services and rectification work in a professional manner across an array of different vehicles for Tangelo and BYD South West. 

Vehicle Technician responsibilities: 

• Service, diagnose, and repair vehicles to City West Country and BYD standards
• Carries out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions 
• Advises Service Team Manager of any additional work required
• Carries out a final inspection and function tests on all complex repair work 
• Completes final documentation for invoicing 
• Ensures protection, cleaning and care of customer vehicle 
• Meets business standards of fix first visit 

What's required from you?

• Previous experience within the Motor industry
• Certified technician qualifications
• Product knowledge 
• Previous MOT experience (or willing to be trained in this)
• A strong team player with great attention to detail

Experience:

• Motor Industry: 3 years (preferred)
• MOT Tester (preferred / willing to train up)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
• Minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance
