Who are we?

Exeter City Football Club is a special club with over 20 years of Supporters’ Trust ownership something we are very proud of. Our ownership model places our supporters and community engagement at the forefront of everything we do and we are proud to have a special place in the heart of the community. Trust ownership is reflected in our commitment to balancing on-field success with long-term sustainability and we have a remarkable track record of nurturing talent through our Academy, promoting players to the first team, and maximising their performance. ​In addition to the success of our Academy and men’s team Exeter City Women successfully transitioned into being fully managed by the Club in 2024 and were promoted to the third tier of women’s football in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division in 2024.

Roles

Having once again been awarded gold standard in the EFL Family Excellence awards for the fifth year running and recognised for our ‘friendly atmosphere and outstanding customer service’ it is important we continue to build on this achievement.

​We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and professional individuals to join our Volunteer Team.

Academy Fundraising/Event helper (Cliff Hill Training Ground, Exeter/offsite events)

To help plan, coordinate, and support fundraising activities and initiatives that help generate income and strengthen relationships with supporters and partners by:
•           Supporting the organisation and delivery of activities to raise money for the academy
•           Ensure fundraising activities are carried out in line with organisational values and goals
•           Promote and implement good practice and positive engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A friendly, outgoing attitude and a passion for customer service.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in event roles is desirable but not essential.

By becoming part of the team, you will help us create our matchday magic and be part of an exciting atmosphere.  These roles offer the opportunity to give back to your community and make a positive impact but also develop valuable skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving.

Our Matchday Volunteers roles will require a DBS Check (the level of this check will be dependant on the role) and must be able to prove their eligibility to work within the UK and provide references.  These checks must be completed prior to commencement of work.
